Job Description

Dow Jones Client Solutions team  is looking for an incredible Project Manager that is responsible for managing all aspects of the Dow Jones Client Solutions team business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Support for solutions sales team directors, including:

  • Business management and contract management
  • Forecasting, Prospecting, & Competitive Monitoring
  • Revenue tracking for various Dow Jones product offerings, including Journal Reports, conferences, and The Slate
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation and account growth
  • Liaising with internal cross-functional teams on solutions, revenue and customer engine

 

Project Management duties, including:

  • Managing multiple projects and clients at a time
  • Developing detailed schedules, work plans and resource requirements
  • Providing clear & thorough verbal and written communications to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring project stakeholders and management are kept appropriately informed of project status and that there is sufficient record of meetings and decision-making
  • Proactively identifying, managing and resolving issues and risks

Position Requirements:

 

  • Interested candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of project management and/or client services/account management experience and be able to work with our internal design and production teams to execute multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Candidates should be highly motivated self-starters who are ready to hit the ground running.
  • Effective team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter, confident, energetic, positive, focused, dependable, proactive, resourceful and possesses a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure & urgency, handling multiple projects at the same time and posting colleagues on progress regularly
  • Fluency with industry digital media terminology (eg. CPM, Impressions, SOV, SOW, GIF vs Flash), as well as will applications MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Drive
  • Willingness to learn development of new products across platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree. Related field of Media Studies, Communications or Journalism a plus
